Workshop series, papermaking and embroidery
A collaboration with several Guelph artists and naturalists, Sewing Seeds was a series of workshops I co-ran. We made seed paper, embroidered images of native plants, and planted some of the paper patches. Central to the workshops were informal discussions about biodiversity, native plants and environmental art practices.
Sewing Seeds was supported by the Ontario Arts Council as a part of the Spotlight Festival.
