Garden Quilt
Arts education programs, various mediums
Toronto and Guelph, 2011–ongoing
Supported by the Ontario Arts Council's Artists in Education program, I run arts-based programs in classrooms exploring pollination, biodiversity and native plant gardening through the arts. Past programs have included making field guides of native plant and insect species, making embroidered seed-paper quilts, creating soft-sculpture habitats of a native plant garden, as well as planting and maintaining gardens on school grounds.
